Annual Giving FAQs

Question
What is The Annual Fund?

Answer
The Annual Fund is comprised of gifts from a dedicated group of alumni, parents, and friends that are generally unrestricted and are used by the school where they are needed most: in supporting the schools day-to-day operations. Academic programs, need-based financial aid and scholarships are a few of the many areas that benefit from your gift.

Question
What does a gift to our Annual Fund do?

Answer
Your gift helps to bridge the gap between what the school receives in tuition and what it actually costs to educate each student.

Question
Why should I contribute?

Answer
Your gift to the Annual Fund helps keep tuition increases to a minimum by providing much-needed financial aid to ensure that these increases do not become a burden to those students who most need it. We invite you to take part in this important tradition, by helping the current generation of students benefit from the Catholic education that Missoula Catholic Schools provide.

Question
How important is my participation?

Answer
Your support is vital to the financial health and reputation of the school. The participation rate of those who contribute to the school's annual fundraising effort is an important measure used by foundations and other grant-giving institutions in dispensing grant funding.

Question
How will I be contacted?

Answer
We will contact you about Loyola Sacred Heart Foundation Annual Fund through mail, through our phon-a-thons and by e-mail.

(Our Annual Giving fiscal year runs from July 1 - June 30)

Thank you for your continued support of Missoula Catholic Schools!
