About Loyola Sacred Heart Foundation
Foundation Origin
Catholic education in Missoula is a legacy of 137 years. Along the way forward thinking supporters of Catholic education recognized the need to help families afford tuition. LSHF was born in 1960 as a vehicle to provide annual tuition assistance and build an endowment toward ultimately fulfilling the mission of ensuring a Catholic education for those families desiring this type of excellence in education.
Foundation Structure
LSHF is governed by a 15 member board of directors all of whom have a connection to Missoula Catholic Schools as parents of students or as Alumni. LSHF is professional managed by a small efficient staff including an Executive Director and Controller. LSHF is a non-profit entity under the IRS tax code section 501(c) and is independent of Missoula Catholic Schools and the Diocese of Helena.
