Cow-A-Bunga 2010

The best time you will ever have sitting around on a Friday afternoon, enjoying a beverage, talking with friends from St. Joseph's and Loyola Sacred Heart and awaiting a cow to do its business - for what you ask?  To have the chance at winning up to $10,000!!! We divide Rollin Field up into squares (as many as equal to tickets sold) and we allow "Blessimie the Cow" to have a turn at making someone a big winner by simply doing her business and "blessing" a square.  Once she has blessed a square an official judgment is made and the winner is announced right there on the field.

This crazy fundraiser allowed us to finish off the school year with an end of the year picnic with family and friends before the long summer and raise easy money for the school.  Since the inauguration of this fundraiser we have almost every year been able to give away the full $20,000 prize (the prize adjusts to $10,000 if under 2500 tickets are sold).  This year we sold 2150 tickets.  Thank you to all the families who sold tickets and who came out to celebrate with this great event.
